Cancellation policy
Consumers have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal.
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the last goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (MERKOL GmbH, Alexander-Meißner-Straße 1, 12526 Berlin, Germany, info@merkol.de, Phone: +49 178 639 03 72) by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You can use the attached sample withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.
To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the
exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
The right of withdrawal and return only applies to products that show no signs of use. For pulse generators and tachographs, the devices must not be installed and connected in the vehicle.
Returns – General packaging conditions
The returned goods should, if possible, be returned in their original packaging, provided this is part of the product. Please ensure that the goods are packed in such a way that neither the product nor the packaging is damaged during transport.
Please do not stick adhesive tape, shipping labels, or stickers directly onto the product's original packaging. To protect the original packaging, it should be packed in an additional shipping box.
Example:
When returning shoes, we ask that you pack the shoes in their original shoebox and do not apply tape or shipping labels to it. Please place the shoebox in an additional outer box.
Should the product be returned in damaged original packaging (e.g., by directly sticking tape or labels to the packaging), we reserve the right to claim appropriate compensation for the loss in value of the goods due to the damaged packaging.
Please ensure that all returns are well protected to prevent transport damage.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we must repay you all payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs resulting from your choosing a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which the returned goods arrived with us. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged fees for this repayment. We may refuse repayment until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.
You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the period of fourteen days. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking the quality, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following contracts:
Contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the
production of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer
is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.
