New pulse generators are required for the connection between the speed sensor and the new generation of digital tachographs – Smart Tacho Version 2. These generators produce signals, pulses, which, in conjunction with a display unit, indicate speeds, RPMs, etc. They also provide the pulses for retrofitting tachographs, taximeters, on-board computers, accident data recorders (ADRs), and trip odometers.
