GVA – Pillar of the independent automotive market in Germany

The German Association of Auto Parts Retailers (GVA) is one of the most important industry associations in Europe and represents the interests of independent spare parts dealers in Germany. The association unites over 130 trading companies with more than 1,000 locations, as well as over 120 auto parts manufacturers and technical data providers. GVA is an important interface for the entire independent vehicle repair and service market and the voice of nearly 2,000 specialist spare parts dealers.

The role of the GVA in the industry

The goal of the GVA is not only to protect and promote the independent repair market, but also to enable customers to freely choose suppliers and workshops. The association advocates for fair competition in the spare parts market and ensures that companies outside of authorized vehicle manufacturers also have equal opportunities.
